5、 1a要求學生根據(jù)圖片內容寫出一些交通方式的短語,并增加其它可能的方式,為接下來的交際功能作鋪墊;1b要求學生聽錄音,把名字和圖片中相應的人物對應起來,即練習了聽力,又初步引出了本單元的目標語言;1c是口頭練習,以文字的形式呈現(xiàn)了目標句型,并引導學生模仿例子用目標語言編造對話并進行口頭練習;2a和2b是關于數(shù)字的練習,要求學生掌握兩位到三位數(shù)字的讀法,為后面的活動作鋪墊;2c是聽力活動,要求學生聽錄音勾劃出聽到的交通方式以及乘不同交通工具所需要的時間,進一步掌握How do you get to ? 和How long does it take?的句型;2d要求學生模仿2c中的對話自己編造對話
6、,進行口頭練習;3a是閱讀理解練習,學生閱讀文章回答幾個how questions,讓學生通過上下文進一步理解目標語言;3b是結對活動,根據(jù)圖片提示用三個how questions做會話訓練;4是三人小組活動,繼續(xù)就how questions展開對話活動并完成表格。Section B 1a要求學生將圖片和相應的短語配對,復習鞏固幾個不同station的表達方式,為后面的功能拓展準備語言材料;1b是結對口頭活動,對本單元的交際功能進行了拓展訓練,練習乘坐兩種交通工具時的表達;2a和2b是聽力活動,是對功能拓展句型的聽力練習,2c則是在此基礎上的口頭會話練習;3a要求學生根據(jù)文章內容判斷幾個句子的

Get students to write the names on the Bb in a line. Then help them to find the correct verbs that go with the nam
12、es to make verb phrases. Write how the students get to school in the morning. Check the answers. Note: “Underground” is the British equivalent of “subway”.“Walk” is differen
14、t from “take a walk”.Step II Listening and Speaking (Section A: 1b 1c)In this step, students will first listen to a short conversation and understand the target language in spoken English. Then they will do some oral practice with the target language. T: What are the names of these students in the p
15、icture? Now lets listen to a conversation. Write the numbers next to the correct students. Play the tape. Check the answers.Play the tape again. 18、ar conversations about Paul, John, Mary and Yang Lan. Step III Practice with numbers (Section A: 2a 2b)Activity 2a provides listening and pronunciation practice with numbers. First, let students read the numbers. Then play the tape, students check their pronunciations. Play the tape again, students
19、listen and repeat. T: Pay attention to the different pronunciations between fourteen and forty. We dont spell forteen or fourty. Write “forteen” and “fourty” on the Bb. Then deal with activity 2b. Let students write the correct number next to the word. Check the answers. Step IV Listening and Speaki
20、ng (Section A: 2c 2d)Call attention to the pictures in activity 2c. T: You will hear two conversations. Listen and check the kinds of transportation that you hear. Play the tape. Students listen and make check marks. Play the tape again, stop for answers and let students check their answers. T: Now
21、look at the time expressions below the pictures. Who would like to read them? Ask different students to read the time. Correct the pronunciation mistakes if any. Then ask a student,T: How do you get to school everyday?S: I take the bus/walk/ride my bike .T: How long does it take? (on the Bb) This qu
22、estion asks about time. Repeat after me. Then let students listen to the tape again and match the time with the kinds of transportation. T: When ask about distance, we use this question, “How far is it from . to .?” To answer the question, we can use meter, kilometer (1000 meters), mile (1609 meters), yard (equal to .91 meters).Then show the following questions o
