We called them clever food .many people also eat peanuts, fruits, tea and play the Qi Qiao game.

This is for protection from evil and disease for the rest of the year. 3、佩飾On Dragon Boat Festival, parents also need to dress their children up with a perfume pouch. They first sew little bags with colorful silk cloth, then fill the bags with perf

7、umes or herbal medicines, and finally string them with silk threads. The perfume pouch will be hung around the neck or tied to the front of a garment as an ornament. 8、ll over the country. As the gun is fired, people will see racers in dragon-shaped canoes pulling the oars harmoniously and hurriedly, accompanied by rapid drums, speeding toward their destination. Folk tales say the game originates from the activities of seeking Qu Yuans body, but experts, after pai

9、nstaking and meticulous research, conclude that dragon boat racing is a semi-religious, semi-entertaining program from the Warring States Period (475-221 BC). A typical dragon boat ranges from 50-100 feet in length, with a beam of about 5.5 feet, accommodating two paddlers seated side by side. It is

10、 brightly painted in red, white, yellow and black. A wooden dragon head is attached at the bow, and a dragon tail at the stern. A banner hoisted on a pole is also fastened at the stern. In the center of the boat is a canopied shrine behind which the drummers, gong beaters and cymbal players are seat

11、ed to set the pace for the paddlers. There are also men positioned at the bow to set off firecrackers, toss rice into the water and pretend to be looking for Qu Yuan. All of the noise and pageantry creates an atmosphere of gaiety and excitement for the participants and spectators alike. People were

12、sad over the patriotic poets death. They tossed rice and meat into the river to feed the fish, which would protect Qus body. 其他基本習(xí)俗其他基本習(xí)俗 采藥 這是最古老的端午節(jié)俗之一。如湖北監(jiān)利于端午“采百草”,亦采藥草之俗。采藥是因端午前后草藥莖葉成熟,藥性好,才于此日形成此俗。 沐蘭湯。端午日洗浴蘭湯是大戴禮記載的古俗。當(dāng)時(shí)的蘭不是現(xiàn)在的蘭花,而是菊科的佩蘭,有香氣,可煎水沐浴。 采茶、制涼茶。北方一些地區(qū),喜于端午采嫩樹(shù)葉、野菜葉蒸晾,制成茶葉。廣東潮州一帶,人們?nèi)?/p>
