1、精選優(yōu)質(zhì)文檔-傾情為你奉上一、 引言在英語教學中,開展英語短劇表演,不僅能夠激發(fā)學生學習興趣,調(diào)動學生學習積極性,提高學生的聽說能力,而且可以培養(yǎng)學生的自主學習能力,豐富第二課堂。英語短劇表演是英語教學重要方法之一。英語短劇表演是指對某些對話、短文、小說、故事、寓言、新聞甚至電視、電影等進行改編,在課堂上用表演的形式展示出來。學生通過小組活動,對英語短劇進行編寫、排練、表演,最后進行師生評價。這種教學方法以學生為中心,充分發(fā)揮學生英語學習的積極性和主動性。英語短劇表演給學生帶來真實、恰當、令人愜意的思想交流和情感交流,給他們帶來了在平常英語語言課堂里所欠缺的語言實踐活動。不僅延伸了學生英語學習
2、的時間和空間,又很大程度的激發(fā)了學生繼續(xù)學習的興趣。同時,這樣的活動賦予教師全方位的教學策略,給他們的課堂教學創(chuàng)造以學生為主的活動提供了一個寬泛的選擇,因而也提高了英語教學的效益。 二、英語短劇表演的意義1.激發(fā)學生學習興趣,調(diào)動學生學習積極性 人們常說:興趣是最好的老師,隨著英語學習內(nèi)容的增加,知識難度的增大,很多學生對學習英語產(chǎn)生了畏懼情緒,失去了學習的興趣。面對這種情況,教師不僅利用多種教學方法,如對話、復述、背誦、看圖說話等;而且采用多種教學手段,如:錄音機、語言實驗室等教學方式,不斷摸索提高學習英語興趣的方法和途徑,但都無法阻止大多數(shù)學生對學習英語興趣的衰退。然而,英語短劇教學方式的
3、出現(xiàn),情景就截然不同了。英語短劇的表演激發(fā)了學生學習英語的興趣,調(diào)動了學生學習英語的積極性, 活躍了課堂氣氛,調(diào)節(jié)了學生學習的壓力,幫助學生克服膽怯的心理、培養(yǎng)學生的參與意識、合作精神和領(lǐng)導能力,并且能充分調(diào)動學生的課內(nèi)外學習英語的主動性和積極性。 2.提高學生聽說能力 目前大學英語聽力和口語教學中的確存在不少缺憾,比如教材老化,教學方式單調(diào)等。在大學英語聽說課中,教師往往讓學生聽幾篇文章,做幾個對話,討論幾個問題就匆匆了事。長此以往,不僅減退學生學習英語的積極性,學生的聽說水平也無法有效提高。而采用英語短劇可以將大量的情景應用語言,讓學生聽、說、背,熟能生巧, 然后通過面部表情、神態(tài)、動作、
4、語調(diào)的抑揚頓挫以表演的方式展現(xiàn)出來。英語短劇表演不但實現(xiàn)了語言形式與內(nèi)容的結(jié)合,延伸了語言學習的時間與空間,將語言的范疇從有聲文字拓展到了肢體、情感、技術(shù)等領(lǐng)域,而且還是實現(xiàn)英語交互性教學的重要手段,學生沉浸在短劇創(chuàng)設(shè)的語言情境中大膽地實現(xiàn)語言對話,極大地提高了英語語言的聽說能力。 3.培養(yǎng)學生自主學習能力,豐富第二課堂 教師要求學生在課下編寫英語短劇,鼓勵他們編排英語短劇進行表演,這發(fā)展了學生的認知策略。在準備表演的前幾天或前一周,小組成員積極上網(wǎng)或去圖書館挑選適合表演的材料,刺激了學生的學習策略。學生課下自行認真編寫、翻譯短劇,一起交流、探討、解決問題,在準備期間,逐漸樹立信心,達到“獨立
5、地獲取信息和資料,并能加以整理、分析、歸納和總結(jié)的目標。從表演前的策劃到之后的實施,直至完成表演后的自評、互評,這些均促進學生更多自覺應用調(diào)控策略。學生在學習英語短劇表演的過程中不斷參與交互式的合作訓練,體驗進步與成功,認識自我,建立自信。從而,學生由被動學習轉(zhuǎn)為主動學習,充分調(diào)動了學生的主觀能動性,這不僅增強了學生自主學習能力,也豐富了英語第二課堂。 三、英語短劇表演的理論依據(jù)建構(gòu)主義認為,學生是信息加工的主體、是意義的主動建構(gòu)者,而不是外部刺激的被動接受者和被灌輸?shù)膶ο蟆=?gòu)主義還認為,知識不是通過教師傳授得到,而是學習者在一定的情境即社會文化背景下,借助其他人的幫助,利用必要的學習資料,
6、通過意義建構(gòu)的方式而獲得。由于學習是在一定的情境即社會文化背景下,借助其他人的幫助即通過人際間的協(xié)作活動而實現(xiàn)的意義建構(gòu)過程,因此建構(gòu)主義學習理論認為“情境”“、協(xié)作”“、會話”和“意義建構(gòu)”是學習環(huán)境中的四大要素。英文短劇是戲劇的一種,集演員藝術(shù)、音樂、語言和舞蹈于一體,語言主要以口語為主,通過舞臺說明、臺詞及人物表演來體現(xiàn)人物性格和塑造人物形象。故事情節(jié)的展開、高潮與結(jié)局則主要體現(xiàn)在人物的對白和表演里。英語短劇表演作為傳統(tǒng)教學模式的補充方式,通過環(huán)境布置、教具學具的使用以及多種教學活動的組織等,虛擬英語學習的“情境”,利用同伴間的“協(xié)作”和“會話”,激發(fā)學生的學習興趣,為學生的英語學習提供
7、了較為充分的情境刺激和認知引導,提高了學生英語學習的效益,最終完成“意義建構(gòu)”。 四、英語短劇表演在教學中的應用1.操作過程 教師可以將全班分成四人或六人一組,每組選派一名負責人帶領(lǐng)大家共同編寫劇本,進行排練,并準備好表演道具。每次上課前各小組輪流上臺表演,每組負責人上前把劇本中的生詞和短語寫在黑板上。輪到小組表演時,學生聲音要響亮,發(fā)音正確,脫稿表演,每組表演5到10分鐘。表演結(jié)束時,學生和教師針對學生的語音、內(nèi)容和技巧等進行及時評價。之后,各組整理劇本,遞交帶有封面設(shè)計的劇本。這種方法訓練了學生寫作能力和繪畫能力。表演當天對學生的表演給予終結(jié)性評估打分,使他們體驗到成功的快樂。 2.教師角
8、色 教師是英語學習活動的參與者、指導者和評價者。在學生準備表演的過程中,教師提供知識平臺,指導和幫助學生主動參與,親身實踐和合作探究。同時培養(yǎng)學生搜索和處理信息的能力、自己獲取新知識的能力、分析解決問題的能力以及交流與合作的能力。在這過程中,教師不再只是“知識的傳授者,而是科學的設(shè)計者,活動的指導者,過程的參與者,解決問題的幫助者和評價者”。教師適時啟發(fā)學生,與學生共同探討問題。學生在課堂表演的時候,教師掌控課堂,處理學生在表演過程中的突發(fā)事情,以確保表演順利進行。在學生表演后,教師是重要的評價者。教師指出這次表演中學生的優(yōu)缺點,幫助學生更好地進行自評、互評,以取得下次更大的進步。這樣師生之間
9、建立了平等和諧的關(guān)系,建立起“學習共同體”。 3.評價 評價可分為形成性評價和終結(jié)性評價。形成性評價可分為學生自評,學生間的互評和教師對學生的評價。學生表演結(jié)束后,教師應對其表演進行及時評價,同時讓其他學生發(fā)表評論,參與評價,培養(yǎng)學生的參與意識和鑒賞能力;教師也可以根據(jù)學生表演時記錄下的細節(jié)對學生的語音、語調(diào)、動作、創(chuàng)造性、句型、使用的豐富性等進行評價。教師在對學生的英語短劇的表演進行評價時,評價的語言要熱情,要選擇帶有鼓勵性的語言,對學生不足的地方應以建議的方式提出來,激發(fā)學生的表演興趣,從而培養(yǎng)學生的學習興趣。 五、結(jié)語英文短劇表演在教學活動中起到了重要的作用。英語短劇表演使課堂氣氛活躍、
