Keep the Ss burning desire and interest.II. 學(xué)情分析: Students in senior 2 have already attained stage 6 ，however they are lack of the background knowledge of British, such as history ,geography ,and culture etc. .besides， the Ss don't have an awarenes

3、s of using reading strategies ,and dont know how to use them they've already learnt. III. Important points （教學(xué)重點(diǎn)）:a. Have a total and detail comprehension of the UK from history, geography, politics, and culture etc.b. Help the Ss to learn different reading skills. . Difficult points（教學(xué)難點(diǎn)）:1. Ho

4、w to help them understand the history of the UK in limited time.2. How to enable them to output what they get from the passage fluently.3. How to improve the Ss fast reading ability?V. Teaching methods（教學(xué)方法）: 1. Skimming scanning methods to make the Ss better understand the whole passage. 2. Discuss

Teaching procedure （教學(xué)過(guò)程）: 1. Pre-reading （閱讀前） 1> Tell them they will have a challenge for their listening. Show a 30

6、-second video and ask them to find out what it is about. （1分鐘）目的：因?yàn)檎Z(yǔ)速為超快語(yǔ)速，學(xué)生注意力必需高度集中，所以目的一是在最短時(shí)間內(nèi)使學(xué)生將所有關(guān)注力放回課堂，其二是直接導(dǎo)入新課.2> Brainstorm: What do you first think of first when mention the UK? (2分鐘) 此活動(dòng)目的是激活學(xué)生與THE UK 有關(guān)的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備，并為之后的閱讀、編對(duì)話、和競(jìng)賽活動(dòng)做好鋪墊。2> Enjoy a piece of video of the UK to have a ov

(3分鐘) 目的：讓學(xué)生對(duì)英國(guó)有一個(gè)大體又全方位的了解，從而是學(xué)生增強(qiáng)對(duì)即將進(jìn)入的課文好奇心。4> free talk (tell them my own experience in learning about the UK-still many puzzles.) 此環(huán)節(jié)目的為引入課文2. While-reading （閱讀過(guò)程） 1> Fast-reading to divide the passage into 3 part. （2分鐘）目的：理清課文框架，為之后的WRITING 做好準(zhǔn)備。同時(shí)，也訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生skimming的閱讀技巧。2

Group A: Find out the timeline in the 3 paras and tell what happened. 次活動(dòng)目的是讓學(xué)生了解并深入理解英國(guó)的形成過(guò)程，同時(shí)還能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生SCANNING AND SKIMMING的能力。 Group B: Finish exercise 1 in comprehending part at page11 on SB. Find out the re

9、lationship of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Then ask one of the group to go to the bb. To show their answer sheet on the blackboard. 次活動(dòng)目的通過(guò)理清關(guān)系，可以更好的理解英國(guó)全稱(chēng) (THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND) 的由來(lái), 同時(shí)也為之后的語(yǔ)言輸出做好充分的準(zhǔn)備，在活動(dòng)完成過(guò)程中，又有閱讀技巧的滲透。(3 分鐘)B：part 2 (Para 4)

Show 8 numbers on the screen. Ask students who want to try choose one, and behind each number there is a questio

If they can answer the questions they may get the related marks. （四分鐘）目的：重現(xiàn)及鞏固加深本課的重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)，抓住學(xué)生好奇心和爭(zhēng)強(qiáng)好勝的心理特點(diǎn)，再次加深對(duì)英國(guó)的了解，同時(shí)也是對(duì)最后一環(huán)節(jié)語(yǔ)言輸出的最后一次鋪墊和準(zhǔn)備。2> According to what theyve learnt in this lesson , ask students to make a dialogue. Situation: Imagine you are visitors to the UK. You wa

13、 ask some group to present it in front. 次活動(dòng)讓學(xué)生以口頭表達(dá)的形式，應(yīng)用本課所獲得所有信息，加工整理成與導(dǎo)游WANG的對(duì)話，內(nèi)容可以涉及與英國(guó)相關(guān)的方方面面。目的一，在應(yīng)用中加深理解；其二，語(yǔ)言的最終目標(biāo)：交際功能的體現(xiàn)。其三，對(duì)本課內(nèi)容學(xué)生掌握程度的一個(gè)直觀的檢測(cè)。4 Homework Ask the students to write a short essay to introduce the UK according to what youve learnt in todays lesson. The group who wins the competition have no homework, but they will correct the homework losers do.總結(jié)及作業(yè)根據(jù)本課所學(xué)，寫(xiě)一篇一百字左右的短文，介紹英國(guó)的歷史人文。競(jìng)賽獲勝組免做本次作文。但隔天批改另
