1、高一英語教學(xué)設(shè)計unit4  Reading Communication: no problem?新鋼中學(xué) 劉龍壽1.整體設(shè)計思路、指導(dǎo)依據(jù)說明本單元的中心話題是“身勢語”?!盁嵘怼?部分以游戲的形式引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解身勢語的作用。學(xué)生結(jié)合身勢語一些動作表演出來,既有趣味性,又有體驗實踐性。Reading部分通過分段朗讀和聽力訓(xùn)練進(jìn)一步讓學(xué)生了解了肢體語言的交際功能以及部分東西方手勢語的區(qū)別。本課采用任務(wù)型教學(xué),模擬真實生活的任務(wù),任務(wù)的設(shè)計注重由簡到繁,由易到難,層層深入,形成由初級任務(wù)到高級任務(wù),并由高級任務(wù)涵蓋初級任務(wù)的循環(huán),堅持學(xué)生為主體,教師為主導(dǎo),任務(wù)為基礎(chǔ)的教學(xué)原則。2.教學(xué)

2、背景分析教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析:本節(jié)閱讀課之前,筆者先進(jìn)行詞匯教學(xué),本單元中心話題“Communication: no problem?”具體涉及“什么是身勢語”及各種文化背景下身勢語的異同。在閱讀課中,筆者根據(jù)學(xué)生知識連貫性的特點和實際情況,把教材中的Warming up 作為Reading 的導(dǎo)入部分,把Pre-reading, Reading和Comprehending 整合在一起作為一堂“精讀課”。 學(xué)生情況分析:“Body language”方面的話題是從實際出發(fā),從自身體驗出發(fā)的一個話題,學(xué)生應(yīng)該非常感興趣,而且就該話題讓學(xué)生做Act and guess,Talk和Discuss等

3、活動,學(xué)生們會有參與的熱情,會有發(fā)言的沖動。Reading是一篇情節(jié)有趣且結(jié)構(gòu)清晰的文章,同學(xué)們閱讀起來不會有太大難度,各種能力水平的同學(xué)都能參與到整個教學(xué)過程并有所得。3.教學(xué)目標(biāo)分析1.進(jìn)行skimming, scanning, careful reading, generalization, guessing meaning等閱讀技能訓(xùn)練。 2.充分利用多媒體,強(qiáng)化學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的意識,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生組織語言、運用語言的能力。3.使學(xué)生了解在各國相同身勢語所表示的不同交際含義。增強(qiáng)對中外“身勢語”差異的敏感性,培養(yǎng)世界意識;通過文化地域?qū)Ρ龋由顚ψ鎳嚓P(guān)知識的理解,增強(qiáng)對祖國熱愛之情

4、。4.教學(xué)重點、難點分析教學(xué)重點1.訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的略讀與掃讀技巧是本課的重點。根據(jù)英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)關(guān)于語言技能的教學(xué)建議,略讀與掃讀是閱讀教學(xué)的基本技能之一,是學(xué)生必須掌握的。2.提高學(xué)生把握文章篇章結(jié)構(gòu)、把握文章細(xì)節(jié)和理解文章主題的能力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀策略,使其形成快速獲取信息的能力。 教學(xué)難點:怎樣使學(xué)生理解不同國家的身勢語,正確地使用身勢語及比較各國身勢語的不同是本課的難點。根據(jù)英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn),文化意識是內(nèi)容標(biāo)準(zhǔn)之一,要求學(xué)生掌握一些行為規(guī)范、風(fēng)土人情等方面的知識,這有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的世界意識,有利于形成跨文化交際能力。5.教學(xué)過程設(shè)計步驟1:Lead in (8 minutes)1.英文

Stamp your feet ! 與主題“Body language”密切相關(guān)。2.游戲的方式極大地激發(fā)了學(xué)生參與課堂的熱情,讓學(xué)生了解“Body language”的傳達(dá)信息的作用。步驟2:Reading(30 minutes)1. Part 2 (Para.2-4) People from different countries have different body language.Part 3 (Para.5) Summary of body language. 設(shè)計意圖:通過讓學(xué)生找出文章主題和劃分段落的練習(xí),使學(xué)生獲取文章大意,培養(yǎng)快速閱讀能力,養(yǎng)成整體閱讀的習(xí)慣,關(guān)注語篇內(nèi)容和結(jié)構(gòu)。略讀是學(xué)生應(yīng)掌握的一項基本的閱讀能力,通過略

9、讀可以把握文章大意。在完成閱讀任務(wù)前,老師可給予學(xué)生一些閱讀技巧方面的指導(dǎo),如略讀(skimming)文章標(biāo)題、小標(biāo)題以及每個段落第一行,關(guān)注文章中反復(fù)出現(xiàn)的關(guān)鍵詞等。通過不斷掌握閱讀技巧,學(xué)生快速獲取文章信息的能力及閱讀速度也會不斷提高。 英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)“語言技能目標(biāo)(七級)”要求“能理解文章主旨”。文章大意是閱讀理解題型必考的題型,部分學(xué)生可能會選第一項A,應(yīng)讓學(xué)生明白主旨大意是以全文角度出發(fā),而不是局部內(nèi)容。2. (F)設(shè)計意圖:(1) 學(xué)生分段朗讀和聽力訓(xùn)練:讓學(xué)生分小組朗讀課文段落,可以使學(xué)生都參與到課堂中,朗讀之后,再來聽課文錄音,同學(xué)們可以模仿錄音的語音語調(diào),糾正他們的發(fā)音。  (2) 觀看同學(xué)在錄相中表演的兩個cultural mis

16、takes后,再重述情景,能鍛煉他們的英語口頭表達(dá)能力,同時講解重要知識點,進(jìn)一步領(lǐng)悟現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語和定語的用法。(3) 通過細(xì)讀的方式閱讀課文,有利于學(xué)生理解文中具體細(xì)節(jié)。根據(jù)課文中每個段落的重要內(nèi)容,設(shè)置難度適中的True or False 問題,讓學(xué)生通過搶答的方式解決問題,能充分調(diào)動全體學(xué)生參與課堂教學(xué)的熱情,要求學(xué)生做練習(xí)時找出其判斷的依據(jù),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的閱讀習(xí)慣。步驟3:Discussion(5 minutes)Do you think body language is important? Can you give some examples in our daily life?

The teacher offers help to those who have difficulty, ask two students to come to the blackboard and write down opinions of other students.設(shè)計意圖:引導(dǎo)學(xué)生討論身體語言在日常生活中的運用,讓兩位同學(xué)將其他同學(xué)說提的觀點呈現(xiàn)在黑板上,把課文閱讀與聽說寫有機(jī)地整合起來,激發(fā)學(xué)生的發(fā)散性思維能力。步驟4:Summary (2 minutes)Bo

18、dy language and communication customs are different in different countries and areas with different cultures. When we are abroad, we must respect their custom and laws. And when the foreigners are in our country, they also should respect our people and laws. Therefore, studying international customs

19、 can certainly help avoid difficulties in todays world of cultural crossroads!設(shè)計意圖:本課結(jié)束時,教師有目的地再現(xiàn)課文的主題,重在進(jìn)一步突出本課的中心話題,并將德育滲透于英語教學(xué)之中。步驟5:Homework1.
