FormerlyknownaspureChi,thewordWei,No.Lanting.AfterrenamedJuan,thewordendoflife,No.Whitehead,WhiteheadHillWeng,oldPing,hungryoldman,bythemountainYinMuseumLord,sendPingTongoldman,threehundredstoneinscriptions.

IsamodernChinesepaintingmaster,worldculturalcelebrity.Earlyyearsforthecarpentry,afterthepaintingforaliving,aftertheageoffifty-fivesettledinBeijing.Goodatflowersandbirds,insectfish,landscapes,figures,inkvigorousmoisturizing,brightcolorsbrightandbright,simpleandvividshape,themoodissimpleandhonest.Madefishandshrimpinsectcrab,daysinteresting.

In1870,fromthegrandfatherZhouYuifreading,commonlyusedbooks,booksthinpaperpainting.

In1878,thankstotheUnitedStatesasateachertolearncarvedcarpenter.Docarpentry,totheresidualmustardgardenasateacher,learningflowersandbirds,figurepainting.

In1888,thankstofolkartistsXiaoXiang陔portraitfortheteacherpainting.

In1889,thankstoHuPatio,ChenShaoFanasateacherpoetry,wasHuQinyuanhelp,fromthewoodworkerlife,studypainting,portraitforthefamily.

In1894,andWangZhongyanandothersevenknotLongshanPoetrySociety,waselectedpresident.AndafterLiSonganTempleandotherknotLuoshanPoetrySociety,togetherwithpoetry,painting,carvedstone.

In1940,thelunarmonth,hiswifediedinChenJunchun,wroteLadyChentext.ToresisttheJapaneseandtraitorsharassmentcablepainting,postedpaintingdoesnotsellandofficialhomeconfession,declinedtoseecustomers.

In1944January,followingtheroomHuBaozhudied.InJune,refusedtoPeipingArtassignedtocoal.

In1946,theendofthewar,complexandthenintheglassfactoryhangingRunge,restorethesaleofengraving.InOctober,gotoNanjing,Shanghaitodotheexhibition,morethan200paintingsallsold,bringbackabundleofFrench,aswastepaper,actuallycannotbuy10bagsofflour.

InJanuary1949,Beipingliberated.ToattendthepremierreceptionofChouEnlai.ForMaoZedongcarvedstonetwosides.AshonoraryprofessoroftheCentralAcademyofFineArts.

January7,1953,Beijingculturalandartcirclesmorethan200peopletoparticipateinQiBaishi90birthdaycelebration,theMinistryofCultureawardedQiBaishioutstandingpeopleartisttitle.ZhouEnlaiattendedtheeveningcelebrationbanquet.ServedaschairmanoftheBeijingChinesePaintingResearchAssociationinOctober,waselectedchairmanofthefirstChineseArtistsAssociationCouncil.
