Subject-verbagreementisaverycomplicatedissueanditisnotourintentiontocoverallthegroundinthisunit.Whatweattempttodohereistobringstudents'attentiontosomepointsparticularlytrickyandletthemlearnbypractice.Themethodweuseinthegrammarsectionofthisbookisthediscoveryapproach--toletstudentsfindouttheirownanswers.Wehopethiscanraisestudents'interestinlearninggrammarandsharpentheirinductiveskills.
