E-mail:地址的書寫順序應(yīng)遵循從小到大的原則。第一行寫門牌號和街名;第二行寫區(qū)名、市(縣)名、?。ㄖ?、邦)名,往國外寄的信,還要寫上國家的名稱;國家名稱的前面加上郵政編碼,其后可寫上電話號;

商務(wù)信函信頭的形式主要有并列式和斜列式兩種并列式:每行開頭要左對齊(從目前情況來看,更為常用)。斜列式:每行開頭逐次向右移二三個字母的距離例如:

(2)TheDateLine日期Thedatelineisavitalpartofanybusinessletter,anditmustneverbeomitted.Itisoftennecessarytorefertothedatewhensometransactionmustbechecked.Becauseofitsimportance,thedatelinemustalwaysbeincluded,anditshouldalsobewritteninfull.Thedatelineconsistsofthedate,themonth,andtheyear.Twowidelyusedstylesareacceptable:June12,2005AmEor12thJune,2005BrEDonotuseallfiguresinthewritingofthedate,i.e.12/6/05,becausenotallEnglish-speakingpeopleagreeaboutwhetherthemonthorthedateappearsfirst.Somepeoplehavethehabitofabbreviatingthedate,butthisisnotrecommendedforcommercialcorrespondence.Theplacementofthedatelineisoftengovernedbythestyleoftheletterheadthecompanyhaschosen.Iftheletterheadiscenteredonthepage,oriftheletterisintheblockformat,thedatelineisusuallytypedtoalignwiththeleftmargin;Iftheletteriswithmodified-blockstyle,thedatelineisoftentypedwiththerightmargin.Dependingonthelengthofthemessage,typethedatelinetwoormore-linespacesbelowtheletterheadorthetype-writtenreturnaddress.(2)日期

例3:Thisstoveisabsolutelythebest(or:theverybest)onthemarket.(這種爐子是市場上絕對最好的爐子。)

這句話是用來介紹商品的,但沒有具體介紹商品的性能,這樣介紹商品,不但達不到推銷的目的,反而容易讓人產(chǎn)生“賣狗皮膏藥”的感覺。

改寫:OurmodelA195isdesignedonmodernlinesandgives,withoutanyincreaseinfuelconsumption,25%moreheatthantheoldermodels.Soyouwillagreethatitistheoutstandingstoveforeconomyoffuel.

(我們的A195型爐子是按近代樣式設(shè)計的,在不增加燃料消耗的情況下,比其他各種舊式爐子溫度高25%。所以,你會同意,這是個優(yōu)良的節(jié)約燃料的爐子。)詞語擺放位置要正確。

Conciseness

將冗長句子和段落進行“瘦身”,用常用單詞替換短語。例如:atthistime→nowduetothefactthat→becauseadraftintheamountof$1000→adraftfor$1000現(xiàn)代商業(yè)人士喜歡語言精練、一目了然,通常采用please,thankyoufor,lookforwardto等常用簡單詞語來表達意愿。同時可以借助first,second等序數(shù)詞,分號、冒號等標(biāo)點符號或數(shù)字序號等對過長的復(fù)合句或段落劃分層次,做到條理清晰,重點突出。準(zhǔn)確原則

從語法上講,一般的商品名稱(非專有名詞)沒有必要大寫。在商業(yè)書信中為了強調(diào)或要促使對方注意,商品名稱常常大寫。

Completeness商務(wù)電子郵件內(nèi)容應(yīng)力求具體、明確、完整,提供讀者所需要的信息,尤其像詢盤、詢問貿(mào)易條件等需要回函的電子郵件,更需要清楚完整,因為只有包含具體信息的郵件,才能達到良好的溝通效果。郵件是否完整,可以用5W1H來檢驗,即who,when,where,what,why和how。禮貌原則(Courtesy)商務(wù)英語電子郵件應(yīng)遵循措詞婉轉(zhuǎn)、禮貌的原則。鑒于電子郵件直接影響到整個交易的成敗,買賣雙方應(yīng)十分注重措辭方式,要婉轉(zhuǎn)、禮貌,使對方輕易接受。在寫作電子郵件時,可以通過使用虛擬語氣、委婉語氣等方法迂回地表達觀點,提出要求。

正文一般遵循三段式的格式。第一段一般是引入主題第二段詳細討論第三段以總結(jié)或建議來結(jié)束全文需兩頁或更多的信紙時,在前一頁最后一行的右邊寫上tobecontinued。續(xù)頁應(yīng)采用不帶信頭的信紙,并注明收信人名稱、頁數(shù)和日期。如:Mr.JohnSmith,Page2,June3,2005
