一、課程性質(zhì)與任務(wù)

《新視野大學(xué)英語(yǔ)IID課程是大學(xué)非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生必修的一門(mén)重要基礎(chǔ)理論課。《新

視野大學(xué)英語(yǔ)》III課程的教學(xué)是以英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)與應(yīng)用技能、學(xué)習(xí)策略和跨文化交際為主

要內(nèi)容，以外語(yǔ)教學(xué)理論為指導(dǎo)并集多種教學(xué)模式和教學(xué)手段為一體的教學(xué)體系。

《新視野大學(xué)英語(yǔ)III》課程以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)綜合應(yīng)用能力為主，打好閱讀基礎(chǔ)，加強(qiáng)聽(tīng)

說(shuō)，使他們能用英語(yǔ)交流信息，在聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)、譯方面達(dá)到教育部《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程指

導(dǎo)》（待定）所提出的基本要求。同時(shí)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力，幫助他們掌握學(xué)習(xí)策略；

提高學(xué)生的跨文化交際能力和批判性思維能力，使他們成為具有國(guó)際視野的新型人才，以

適應(yīng)我國(guó)社會(huì)發(fā)展和國(guó)際交流的需要。具體內(nèi)容如下：

1.聽(tīng)力理解能力：能聽(tīng)懂英語(yǔ)國(guó)家人士的一般性題材的講座和談話，能聽(tīng)懂篇幅較長(zhǎng)的

國(guó)內(nèi)英語(yǔ)廣播或電視節(jié)目；語(yǔ)速達(dá)每分鐘120詞左右，準(zhǔn)確率達(dá)到70%以上。能適當(dāng)運(yùn)用聽(tīng)

力技巧，抓住要點(diǎn)以及相關(guān)細(xì)節(jié)信息。

2.口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力：能夠完成關(guān)于事件的描述，如時(shí)間的時(shí)段、頻度、以及空間的方向、

運(yùn)動(dòng)和距離等；能在課堂上就某一主題用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行討論，能使用一定的會(huì)話策略（如開(kāi)始

交談，繼續(xù)交談，改變?cè)掝}，停止交談）；能合理使用發(fā)音規(guī)則，如連讀，爆破，同化，

弱讀等。

3.閱讀理解能力：在閱讀材料的難度及閱讀量高于二級(jí)的情況下，閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘70

詞，準(zhǔn)確率達(dá)到70%以上。重點(diǎn)在于側(cè)重篇章分析和建立知識(shí)網(wǎng)絡(luò)。

4.書(shū)面表達(dá)能力：注重英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作知識(shí)的傳授和相應(yīng)的微技巧訓(xùn)練的結(jié)合。加強(qiáng)從句子水平

上的書(shū)面表達(dá)能力逐步提高到語(yǔ)篇水平的寫(xiě)作能力。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生能運(yùn)用詞匯、語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)和功

能意念按規(guī)定的具體要求寫(xiě)作，力求達(dá)到用詞準(zhǔn)確，語(yǔ)法概念清楚。

5.翻譯能力：能借助詞典對(duì)題材熟悉的文章進(jìn)行英漢互譯，英漢譯速為每小時(shí)約300個(gè)英

語(yǔ)單詞，漢英譯速為每小時(shí)約250個(gè)漢字。譯文基本準(zhǔn)確，無(wú)重大的理解和語(yǔ)言表達(dá)錯(cuò)誤。

6.推薦詞匯量：掌握的詞匯量應(yīng)達(dá)到約3550個(gè)單詞和400個(gè)詞組（含中學(xué)應(yīng)掌握的詞匯）。
