摘要 翻譯學(xué)是一門(mén)開(kāi)放性、綜合性、跨學(xué)科性很強(qiáng)的科學(xué)和藝術(shù)，所以 要在這一科學(xué)框架中構(gòu)筑翻譯理論，二十世紀(jì)九十年代，西方學(xué)者紛紛 把語(yǔ)篇語(yǔ)言學(xué)理淪引進(jìn)翻譯研究領(lǐng)域，以語(yǔ)篇語(yǔ)言學(xué)為理論背景的翻譯 研究認(rèn)為翻譯是語(yǔ)篇的翻譯，對(duì)等是語(yǔ)篇層面的對(duì)等。語(yǔ)篇語(yǔ)言學(xué)方法 把翻譯看作是一個(gè)自上而下( t o p d o w n ) 的過(guò)程，即先決定譯文在目的語(yǔ) 文化中的屬性或類(lèi)型及其交際功能，再通過(guò)一個(gè)個(gè)的語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)來(lái)體現(xiàn)預(yù) 定的語(yǔ)篇。在翻譯實(shí)踐中，要重組( 建構(gòu)) 一個(gè)適用于目的語(yǔ)社會(huì)的語(yǔ)篇， 并非取決于表層結(jié)構(gòu)( 如一個(gè)個(gè)句子) 的轉(zhuǎn)換，而是自上而下地、有目的 地選擇語(yǔ)言資源，對(duì)整個(gè)語(yǔ)篇進(jìn)行重寫(xiě)。以語(yǔ)篇為翻譯單位不是說(shuō)可以 脫離詞句，翻譯的實(shí)際操作總是從詞句開(kāi)始，語(yǔ)篇意識(shí)強(qiáng)調(diào)的是，每一 個(gè)層級(jí)的翻譯操作都應(yīng)該在其上一層級(jí)作為思維背景的情況下進(jìn)行，而 整個(gè)語(yǔ)篇或篇章是翻譯決策的最終落腳點(diǎn)，是最終評(píng)判譯文質(zhì)量的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。 如今的翻譯研究已不再將翻譯視為以文本形式出現(xiàn)的靜態(tài)的產(chǎn)品， 而是一種動(dòng)態(tài)的跨文化的交際過(guò)程。交際是通過(guò)語(yǔ)篇完成的，交際的參 與者對(duì)語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型和結(jié)構(gòu)有某種共識(shí)，這種共識(shí)以知識(shí)的形式儲(chǔ)存于他們 的大腦中，語(yǔ)篇作為按一定成篇模式構(gòu)建的信息載體，可激活讀者頭腦 中的語(yǔ)篇知識(shí)，從而達(dá)到交流的目的。翻譯的過(guò)程就是選擇的過(guò)程，語(yǔ) 篇類(lèi)型之所以重要是因?yàn)樗蛢?nèi)容形式，翻譯策略有密切的關(guān)系，分析 原文必須考慮語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型，語(yǔ)言成分以及非語(yǔ)言因素，翻譯中的語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型 的研究開(kāi)始于r e i s s 在二十世紀(jì)七十年代的研究，賴(lài)斯的理論是以語(yǔ)篇 類(lèi)型的普遍共性入手，逐步分析各種不同種類(lèi)的具體特點(diǎn)，從而建立起 翻譯類(lèi)型學(xué)。雖然能夠解決所有類(lèi)型語(yǔ)篇的翻譯方法并不存在，但是不 同的語(yǔ)篇需要不同的翻譯策略。 本論文是以語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型為切入點(diǎn)，按哈蒂姆( h a t i m2 0 0 1 ) 的記敘、 論說(shuō)和指令三種類(lèi)型的對(duì)語(yǔ)篇進(jìn)行劃分，從宏觀角度對(duì)比研究英漢語(yǔ)篇 的異同，從各語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型的特征來(lái)看，英漢兩種語(yǔ)言的語(yǔ)篇有許多相似之 處，成功的翻譯應(yīng)該再現(xiàn)原文的語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型的特征及其功能。由于思維方 式和文化的差異所引起的英漢語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型結(jié)構(gòu)的不同，主要表現(xiàn)在語(yǔ)篇的 謀篇布局和銜接方式的不同，構(gòu)成了可譯程度的高低，本論文通過(guò)具體 的翻譯實(shí)例闡述了語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型和翻譯策略的關(guān)系，即語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型如何影響翻 譯策略的選擇。
