Daily greeting. 2. 復(fù)習(xí)動副短語和動詞不定式的用法,并完成相關(guān)任務(wù)。 Step 2 Warming up1. T: Show some pictures about phrasal verbs, for example,put up, hand o

3、ut call ou.Then review the story about Mario and Mary.Tell students there are so many people in need,what would you like to do for them? Step 3 Presentation 1. Present the new words on the big screen and learn the new words together. 1) fix up/repair v. 修理;修補(bǔ) 2)run out of 用完;耗盡3) give away 贈送;捐贈 4)

Step 4 MatchingWork on 1a 1. Ask one student read the phrases and the nouns. Tell students to match the phrasal

7、away. Step 5 Listening Work on 1c: 1. Tell students to look at the pictures in 1c. Tell them the boy in the pictures is Jimmy. Hes a kindness boy. He likes to help others. What is he doing now? Listen to the tapes and number the pictures. 2. Play the recording for the students. They just listen for

8、the first time. Play the recording again and number the pictures. 3. Check the answers: Work on 1d: (1). Let students read the sentences in 1d first. Tell students to listen again and judge the sentences True or False.(2). Play the recording again for the students to listen and judge. (3). Check the

9、 answers with the class.Add task:Listen and fill in the blanks with the words in the bracket. Step 6 Role-play 1. Work in pairs. Role-play a conversation between Jimmy and the reporter. Use the information in 1c and 1d. 2. Let two students make a model for the students. 3. Students practice their conversations and teacher can walk around the classroom to help them.4.Try their best to retell the story about Jimmy.Step 8 SummaryGod help those who help themselves.Step9 Blackboard Design-What would you like to do for people fix.up/repair run out of.in need?
