41、e I/O device, the connection data must bewritten from the base station to the ID-PLUG.Switch on the base station.Set the desired device address on the "TN" rotaryencoding switch (values 1 to 3.Plug on the ID-PLUG.The ID-PLUG LED first lights up yellow then green.Remove the programmed ID-PL
42、UG.Programming is complete.Plug the ID-PLUG on the I/O device switched off.Only plug the ID-PLUG on the I/O device whenthe power is disconnected. After power up of theI/O module the data is read from the ID-PLUG.Set the "TN" rotary encoding switch to the numberof devices present after the
43、ID-PLUGs have beenconfigured on the base station. Otherwise, thewrong values would be read in the event of thenext power up.11Configuring the Bluetooth networkSet the total process data length on the "PD" rotaryencoding switch (values 3 to 12.Set the required number of slave devices on the
44、 "TN"rotary encoding switch (values 1 to 3.The configured data is accepted after power up of thebase station.The following example shows how to calculate the totalprocess data length for a system containing three devices:Device type Device address Process data length FLM BT BS M12 (base st

46、s.Make sure that the base station is configured correctly.Switch on the base station. The total process data length and the number of I/O devices to be connected is read from the rotary encoding switches.Local bus communication is configured and the local bus can be started.As long as the wireless l
47、ink has not been established to the I/O devices, the error bit is set in the status word and the BT LED is red.After establishment of the wireless Bluetooth network, a plausibility check is carried out. If an incorrect totalprocess data length is set, the BT LED is red and an I/O error is reported.
48、The wireless Bluetooth network has to be configured correctly.After the plausibility check has been carried out, the I/O devices are enabled in order to exchange process data.The BT LED is green and the error bit is reset.13FailsafeIf the wireless link to an I/O devices is interrupted, the relevant
49、I/O device changes to failsafe mode. Process data transmission to the I/O device is stopped and all OUT process data is set to "0" and all IN process data keep their last value.Once the wireless link is restored, the I/O device must be enabled for process data communication using the "
50、;Set Failsafe Mode RUN" command.The status of the wireless link can be requested using the "Get Error Code" command.14Startup in special modeThe switch positions S1 and S2 allow a start-up of the system with definite I/O device constellations.In contrast to the standard mode, not all
51、device information needs to be read in with wireless communication to create a process data image after power up in the special mode. Therefore, devices can exchange process data during the start-up phase, even if not all I/O devices have be switched on or the wireless communication has not yet been
52、 established. Please note that optimum transmission times are only possible when the wireless link has been established to all devices.14.1Switch positionUse switch position S1 only if your system consists of three devices of the type FLM BT DIO8/8.Use switch position S2 only if your system consists
53、 of three devices of the type ILB BT ADIO2/2/16/16.As of HW/FW/FW: xx/1.40/x.xx there are twoadditional switch positions (S1 and S2 on therotary encoding switch.ATTENTION:Only use devices that match theswitch position.Use switch positions S1 and S2 with the followingdevices only:The switch positions
54、 S1 and S2 allow a start-up ofthe system with definite I/O device constellations.S1 3 x FLM BT DIO 8/8S2 3 x ILB BT ADIO 2/2/16/1614.2ApproachPut the system in the special mode into operation as follows:Switch on the base station. Please note that the error bit is not set in this operating mode.The
55、status of the wireless link to the individual I/O devices can be determined using the "Get ErrorCode" command.As soon as a device indicates a wireless link,the device can be enabled for process data communication with the "Set Failsafe Mode RUN" command.15Process dataThe input da
56、ta contains the diagnostic data and the IN process data of the Bluetooth I/O devices. The output data can be used for requesting diagnostic information and for parameterization. The device process data is added to the process data channel in ascending order of the device address from the left to the
57、 right.Diagnostic information is requested using OUT word 0 (control word. Once the command has been executed, parts of the control word (bit 0 to bit 14 are copied to IN word 0 (status word. This mechanism confirms execution of the action requested. The actually requested data, e.g., "error co
58、de", can then be retrieved from IN word 1 (diagnostic data.After sending a command, you have to wait for the relevant confirmation first.
