6、也可以出現(xiàn)在句尾，用來對主句動(dòng)作提供時(shí)間，原因，條件，方式等方面的修飾，或成為主句的結(jié)果，從而使主句的動(dòng)作狀態(tài)更豐滿，語義更完整，語境感更強(qiáng)。大多數(shù)情況下，作狀語的v-ing形式均可轉(zhuǎn)換為同類型的狀語從句或并列句。如：Turning left at the first woods, youll find the path to the foot of the mountain._. 9、Summary :a. v-ing形式作賓語補(bǔ)足語的位置。充當(dāng)賓語補(bǔ)足語的v-ing形式須緊跟在_之后，因?yàn)橘e語常在 _ 或者_(dá)之后，因此帶有v-ing形式作賓語補(bǔ)足的完整結(jié)構(gòu)往往為V+ Object + v-ing或者Prep +_，其中，Object+ Object Complement部分常稱為復(fù)合賓語或者賓語的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。英語中能接賓語復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)的動(dòng)詞很有限， 此結(jié)構(gòu)中的V常為：感官動(dòng)詞，如see, watch, notice, find, catch，hear等；使役動(dòng)詞，如have，keep, leave等。， 某些介詞也可以加賓語復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，如_。b.v-ing形式作賓語補(bǔ)足語的意義。
