It is a comprehensive system of teaching and learning, which is instructed by pedagogical theories and focuses on knowledge and application of English

3、language, learning strategy and intercultural communication. It includes several teaching objectives. First, cultivate students comprehensive abilities of reading, listening ,speaking and writing., which enable them to communicate effectively in English in their future careers. In addition, reinforc

4、e students self-study ability and improve their cultural awareness to get them more adapted to the social development and international exchanges. 、Course ObjectivesMoral Education and Character Cultivation. College English course is an essential part of higher education in our country. Integrating

5、moral education into college English will not only foster and enliven traditional patriotism but also enrich college English course. Nowadays, it is taking up a more glorious and pioneering mission, which inspires students to have a good command of traditional Chinese culture as well as a good insig

6、ht into the world. Students will build stronger cultural confidence and be able to spread Chinese culture around the world in English through college English course.2.
