dioxidefromtheairasitdrives.TheteamsaysifZEMisdrivenabout32,000kilome-

ters.itcanremove2

kilogramsofcarbondioxidefromtheair.That*snotahugeamount.Theteam

calculatesthat10ZEMcarsontheroadforayearwouldremoveasmuchcarbondiox-

ideasatypicaltreedoesduringthattime.However,theyalsopointoutthatthereare

overabillionpassengercarsintheworldthatcouldbeusingthistechnology.Andifa

billioncarswereremovingcarbondioxideinsteadofproducingit.theresultwouldbe

huge.

ZEMalsohasseveralotherinnovationsthathelptomakeitmorecapableofbeing

sustained:thecar7sframeandpanels(面板)are3Dprintedtoreducewaste;it

wasbuiltusingrecycledandrecyclablematerials;anditcanbeeasilytakenapartso
