The teacher will ask in English “Do you have a ping-pang bat?” so that the students will have a sense of
5、 this language environment. Then ask different stuff to make sure the students understand the meaning and the context of the sentence pattern.II. Presentation and practice A tape would be played for the students and they should circle the words they hear. In this way, theyll have a general concept o
6、f the new words. The teacher is going to teach the new words by describing and acting the words. Take “basketball” as an example: T: Do you like playing games?Ss: Yes!T: Lets play a riddle game! I describe and you guys guess. Ok?Ss: Sure!T: The first one. Its a round ball that you play in the playgr

Students should look at the picture then work in pairs to ask weather his/her partner has the objects in the pict
9、ure. Ask 5 pairs to go to the front and role play the dialogue they just practiced. III. Summary Ask the students what theyve learned today so that theyll summarize the class by themselves. They can explain words in English, and use the words into the sentence pattern they also learned today. IV. Homework Students are going to fill in a blank to introduce themselves to the sport coach and tell the coach what
