Hip-hop是20多年前始于美國街頭的一種黑人文化，也泛指說唱樂。Hip-hop文化的四種表現(xiàn)方式包括街舞、玩唱片及唱盤技巧、涂鴉藝術(shù)。因此說唱只是hip-hop文化中的一種元素，要加上其它舞蹈、服飾、生活態(tài)度等才構(gòu)成完整的hip-hop文化。

在繁華的都市街頭，有時可以看見不少年輕人喜愛這樣的一種穿著方式：寬大的衛(wèi)衣或是超大的運動外套直蓋過臀部，上身內(nèi)外重疊，褲子腰頭又低又大掛在胯部，褲腳直托地面，褲腿在鞋跟部位層層疊疊，整個人被安全地藏于嚴嚴實實的衣服套子里。這種既舒適又有一絲幽默感的著裝方式其實來源于美國黑人家庭。原先是為了節(jié)省，讓弟弟、妹妹穿哥哥、姐姐們穿下來的大衣服，久而久之，形成這么一種松松垮垮的街頭穿著感覺。美國hiphop文化.Commonwearingshorterlengtht-shirtandtightjeansDuetotherecenttrendinhiphopfashiontorevertbacktothe"oldschool"gainingpopularity,theclothingisbecomingsimilartoearly80'sformofdressing.

美國hiphop文化.HIP-HOP的典型穿著方式主要有：寬大的印有夸張Ｌｏｇｏ的Ｔ恤，同樣寬大拖沓的板褲、牛仔褲或者是側(cè)開拉鏈的運動褲、籃球鞋或工人靴、釣魚帽或者是棒球帽、民族花樣的包頭巾、頭發(fā)染燙成麥穗頭或編成小辮子。而相應(yīng)的配飾則有：紋身Ｔａｔｏｏ、銀質(zhì)耳環(huán)或者是鼻環(huán)、臂環(huán)，Ｍａｔｒｉｘ墨鏡、ＭＤ隨身聽、滑板車、雙肩背包Ｂａｃｋ－ｐａｃｋ等。
