Sure,ifstypicalforpeopletooverestimatetheirabilities.Theproblemisthatwhenpeopleareincompetent,not
onlydotheyreachwrongconclusionsandmakeunfortunatechoices,butalsotheyarerobbedoftheabilitytorealize
theirmistakes.Inasemester-longstudyofcollegestudents,goodstudentscouldbetterpredicttheirperformanceon
futureexamsifgivenfeedbackabouttheirscoresandrankings.However,thepoorestperformersshowednorecognition,
