Weinvestineffortstoensureanequitabletalentjourneyandaninclusiveculture

Tobestserveourclients,weneedtomakesurealloftheworld’sbestbusinesstalentareawareofopportunitiesatBainandencouragethemtoexplorethoseopportunities.Tothatend,wecelebratedthe15thyearoftheBuildingEntrepreneurialLeaders

(BEL)exploratoryprograminspring2023,hosting138participantsacross11NorthAmericanoffices,with57universitiesrepresented.Wealsohosted76BuildingandSupportingExcellence(BASE)scholarsaspartofourpre-MBAexploratoryprogramacross11NorthAmericanoffices.InFebruary2023,welaunchedBain’sinaugural

ConnectingandResourcingEmpoweredWomen(CREW)exploratoryprogramin7Bainoffices,welcoming215sophomorewomenfrom67universities.AcrossEMEA,wecontinuedtointroducecandidatestowomenleadersatBainthroughourWomenLeadtoInspireseries.InAustralia,wehaveseveralinitiativesunderwaytodeepenrelationshipswithAboriginalandTorresStraitIslandercommunitiesinanefforttoprovideopportunitiesforindigenousAustralianstothriveintheircareers.

OursupportfornewconsultingandbusinessfunctiontalentcontinuesoncetheyjoinBain.WeareproudofthecareeropportunitiesavailabletoeveryBainie.Toseteveryoneupforsuccess,wecontinuetoimproveourprofessionaldevelopment,

someone’sstoryreplacesassumptionswithtrueunderstanding.

Inthepastyear,wehostedstorytellingeventsacrossglobalofficesandaffinitygroups,includingforournewestaffinitygroup,FirstatBain,tohelpusalllearnmoreabouteachother.WealsoheldprogrammingthroughouttheyeartoengageourBaincommunityintheculturalmomentsandmonthsthatcelebrateouraffinitygroupcommunities.SinceJuly2023,morethan50Bainieshavejoinedourleadershipanddevelopmenttrainercommunityanddeliveredmorethan100trainingsessionsonunconsciousbias,inclusiveteaming,storytellingforinclusion,andothertopics.OuraffinitygroupsprovideadditionalopportunitiesforpeoplewithinBaintobond,connect,andshareexperiences.Overthepastyear,thesegroupsupdatedtheirnamestoenhanceaccessandinclusion.Alsointhepastyear,weexpandedDiverseAbilitiesatBaintoEMEAandAPAC,andwehostedliveandvirtualeventsforall

eightofourgroups.
