How about Beijing?” in a real situation. The most important is to foster Ss abilities of listening, speaking and communication.Te

6、well.Teaching processThrough the task-basted teaching approach, my teaching process will include 6 parts. Step1 Warm-upIn warming-up, Ill let the Ss listen and sing “How is the weather?” . This step is to form a better situation for the Ss by singing. They will come into the real surrounding of Engl

7、ish learning. It can help Ss review some key words and sentences and prepare for the new lesson. Step2 Presentation1. Ill show Beijing s picture and let the Ss answer: “Whats the weather like in Beijing?” to teach degrees. Then show New Yorks picture and ask: How about New York? Is it cold? To prese

8、nt the sentence patterns: How about Beijing? Is it cold?Yes, it is. No,it isnt.Then practice the sentences by talking Sydeys picture . This step is to form a better situation for the Ss by watching and talking cities pictures . Ss can learn the new sentences naturally.2. In order to know the general

9、 meaning of the dialogue. I set the situation for “Lets talk”: Chen jie and Mark are talking. Let the Ss watch the cartoon and choose: “What are they talking about?” 3. To know the dialogue by answering the questions, listening and reading. By this step, it can help Ss understand and talk about the

10、dialogue of this lesson, at the same time it improve Ss reading ability.Step3 PracticeIn practice part, I will help Ss to know the dialogue better and read the dialogue in the right intonation by reading in different kinds and show it.Step4 ConsolidationIn this part, Ss can call12121 ask the weather

11、 which they want to know.This part is the consolidation of the key structure, and also is an extensive activity for the Ss. During this part, the Ss can think and say by themselves, they will be glad to use the knowledge they have learnt, and their creative power and ability of using language will b
