1、CATALYST RESIDUE EVAPORATOR SYSTEM EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN GUIDELINECatalyst Residue Evaporator System Emergency Shutdown PurposeThe purpose of this procedure is to shutdown the Catalyst Residue Evaporator System to a safe condition in the event of an emergency shutdown. ConditionsAn emergency shutdown o

2、f the Catalyst Residue Evaporator System should occur in the event of a gasket failure, line rupture, fire/explosion, or a utilities failure. In an emergency shutdown condition, only the control valves will be closed using the valves controller unless a control valve is suspected of leaking through.

3、 In those special cases, a block valve will have to be manually closed to eliminate the leakage.Catalyst Residue Evaporator System Emergency Shutdown GUIDELINE Gasket failure, line rupture, fire/explosion: Shutdown the TBA Recovery Bottoms Pump 01P0309-A/B. Close the control valve FV-34218 on the TB

4、A Recovery Column bottoms to the Residue Evaporator Flash Drum. Shutdown TBA Purification Column Overhead Pump 01P0357-A/B (acetone flush is routed to the capillaries on the bottoms level of the Residue Evaporator Flash Drum). Close TV-39001 to the Residue Evaporator Exchanger (this will flood the R

5、esidue Evaporator Exchangers with condensate preventing heat from flowing through the exchangers). Close the control valve LC-39017B on the distillate to process fuel. De-inventory the Residue Evaporator Flash Drum to the Catalyst Residue Tank.Catalyst Residue Evaporator System Emergency Shutdown Cl

6、ose the control valve FV-39018 on recycle line from the discharge of Mo Bottoms Pump 01P0364-A/B to the Residue Evaporator Exchanger. Close the control valve LV-39017A on 01D0390 bottoms to the Catalyst Residue Tank after de-inventory of Residue Evaporator Flash Drum. Shutdown the Mo Bottoms Pump 01

7、P0364-A/B when the Residue Evaporator Flash Drum is de-inventoried. Close the control valve AV-39055 on nitrogen to overhead line of Residue Evaporator Flash Drum Note: Nitrogen control valve has a bypass flow orifice and must be blocked in pipe rack to stop all flow of nitrogen to overhead line. 8、-inventory the Residue Evaporator Distillate Drum to the Process Fuel Surge Drum. Shutdown the Residue Evaporator Distillate Pump 01P0365-A/B when the Residue Evaporator Distillate Drum is deinventoried. Shutdown the Residue Evaporator Vacuum Package.Catalyst Residue Evaporator System Emergency Shut

9、down Isolate the leak. Depressure the affected area. Ensure the fire fighting equipment is available for fire fighting, vapor dispersal, or equipment cooling. Utilities failure: NOTE: A utilities failure is a loss of steam pressure or electrical power. The instrument air system has a nitrogen system

10、 backup in the event of a loss of instrument air. Close the control valve FV-34218 from the TBA Recovery Column to the Residue Evaporator Flash Drum. Stop the distillate flow from the Residue Evaporator Distillate Drum 01D0389 by closing the control valve LV-3917B with LC-3917B. Shutdown the Residue Evaporator Distillate Pump 01P0365-A/B.Catalyst Residue Evaporator System Emergency Shutdown Stop the steam flow to the Residue Evaporator Exchanger by closing a block valve on the S4 steam supply to 01E0371-A/B. Close the condensate pot level control valve TV-39001 with TC-39001. Monitor the 0
