In the distance came the sound of the broadcast announcing the race was starting soon. Finally, David raised his eyes
19、and sprang to his feet, mustering up great courage. I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners.As soon as the race started,he ran at full speed. However, so long the track was that David could hardly finished it. He hobbled on the track with sweat rolling down from his forehead. A competitor who passed by tried to uphold him, but he refused.
