2、hing aids:Tape masks5.Teaching Procedures:Step1 Language drill 1。) Have the children pin on their English name tags。 Ask the children to say their English names in turn。 2。) Divide the class into groups of three or four. Have one small group stand in a row in front of the class 。Have the children at

3、 one end begin,” Hello My names (Ben).”and indicating the next child in the row ,say, This is (Rose)。”Then the child should gesture towards the farthest child and say ,”Thats (Sam).” 3。)Repeat the procedure in the other groups。Step2 Talk together1。)Have the children open their books at the top of pa

4、ge30.2。) Display your copy of the page and read the words in the speech bubbles aloud, pointing to each word as you say。3)Read the words again ,and have the children repeat them after you Encourage the children to touch the words as they say them。4.)Organize a speech chain, where children substitute

6、es according to the tapes.3。) Play the tape one sentence at a time 。 Ask, Whos that ?Have the children touch the matching picture. Then ask, where is he /she from?” It is import to watch that the children choose correctly。 4。) Play the a second time , sentence by sentence . This time have the childr

7、en write the number beside each picture as they listen to the tape. 5.) The whole class check answers.Step4 Introduce the letter JjStudent Book page 791Ask the class to recall the letters they have learnt。 If the children cannot name them , have them find letters on Uncle Bookys ABC 。Write Aa ,Bb, C

8、c, Dd ,Ee ,F(xiàn)f ,Gg, Hh and Ii on one corner of the board。2Say,” Look at Uncle Bookys ABC and find the letter you know ” Now look at the next letter Jj.”3Write the letter Jj on the board 。 Then repeat ,This is the letter E。 Can you find the word that begines with J in Uncle Bookys ABC/Check that the c

9、hildren have found it.4Say, Listen :jeep。 You say it . Have the children repeat the word 。say, “Look :jeep?!?and point to the written word 。 Encourage all the children to say the word aloud as they touch it in their books .Step5 Words that begin with the letter JjStudent Book page 31 1Draw the child
