滿城盡刮圣誕風(fēng)：中西節(jié)日大碰撞

一年一度的圣誕節(jié)又到了，節(jié)日的氣氛在城市中蔓延。這個西方舶來品(exotic)在國人的心目中又意味著什么呢？它是否會削減人們對于傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日的熱情？

圣誕老人的笑臉在全國各地隨處可見。各地政府部門也紛紛用彩燈和各種裝飾裝扮著樹木和燈柱。乍一看上去，游客們大概會有身在歐洲的錯覺。

盡管事實(shí)上，大多數(shù)中國人都不是基督教徒，但圣誕節(jié)已經(jīng)越發(fā)受到人們的歡迎了。

清華大學(xué)教授，國家假日制度改革專家蔡繼明說：“15年前，當(dāng)你走在中國大城市的街道上，你不會看到什么圣誕的跡象。但如果你現(xiàn)在再去造訪同樣的城市，你會驚訝地發(fā)現(xiàn)遍地都是圣誕的跡象?！?/p>

Asweknow,therearesomanyfestivalsintheentireworld,includingChinesetraditionalfestivalsandWesternfestivals.IstronglydisagreetocelebratewesternholidaysinChinainthattherearethreereasonstosupportmyview.

Tobeginwith,therearesomanymeaningfultraditionalfestivalsinChina,fromwhichpeoplecouldhavearestandgetrelax.AsfarasChinesepeopleareconcerned,theSpringFestivalistheirfavoritefestival,whichiscelebratedbyChinesepeopleorpeoplewithChineseconsanguinity(血親，同族)

nomatterwherearethey.Inthefestival,withouttheburdenofwork,peoplecallonrelatives,visittheirrespectedteachers,andchatwiththeirbestfriends.Thoughthetemperatureisverycouldinthattime,theatmosphereamongpeopleisverywarmandhappy.Besides,thereareothermeaningfulandinstructivefestivalsinChina,suchasAutumnDay,NationalDay,PureBrightFestival,etc.

Furthermore,westernfestivalshavetheculturalandhistoricaloriginsinthewesterncountries,whicharenotknownandcomprehendedbyChinesepeople.Therearesomanywesternfestivals,includingThanksgivingDay,ChristmasDay,andSaintValentine'sDayandsoon,whichareoriginatedfromorrelatedwithChristianorCatholicismwhicharenotbelievedinbythemajorityofChinesepeople.Wecouldnotgainthehappyfeelingsincewecouldnotunderstandtheseholidays’meanings.

Finally,therearenegativeaspectsonunhealthypeopleinthewesternfestivalswhichshouldnotbecelebratedbyus.AllSaints’Dayisaverythrillingfestival,inwhichpeopleputthehorribleorsinistermaskupontheirfaces.Thoughthesekindsofactionshelppeopletoboosttheircourage,itisdangeroustotheunhealthypeopleorillpeoplewithheartdiseases.Iftheyencounterthepeoplewithavividskeletonmaskonfacesuddenlywithoutanycaution,itisverylikelythattheywouldbethreatenedandfaintonthefloor.
