The descripti ons of speaker roles listed below are suggestive and are not intended to be exhaustive or exclusive. All speakers, except the final speakers

9、二 隊(duì))的角度總結(jié)整場(chǎng)辯 論。反方四辯 (反對(duì)黨黨鞭)維護(hù)反對(duì)黨成員提出的新論點(diǎn); 回應(yīng)政府成員提出的新論點(diǎn); 從反方(特別是反方二隊(duì))的角 度總結(jié)整場(chǎng)辯論。Speaker Points GuidelinesTeams should be ran ked on the basis of their matter and manner.Matter refers to the content and substa nee of a team ' argume nts. Matter in eludes argume nts and reas oning, evidenee, exampl
10、es, case studies, facts, statistics and any other material that a team uses to further the case. Matter includes both positive (or substantive) material and refutation (arguments specifically aimed to counter the argume nts of the oppos ing team(s).Matter should be releva nt, logical and con siste n
11、t. It should relate to the issues of the debate: positive material should support the case being presented and refutation should engage the material presented by the opposing team(s). Arguments should be developed logically in order to be clear and well reasoned and therefore plausible. The conclusi
12、on of all arguments should support the member' case. Members should ensure that the matter they prese nt is con siste nt with in their speech, their team and the rema in der of the members on their side of the debate. All members should prese nt positive matter (except the final two members in t
13、he debate) and all members should en gage in refutatio n (except the first member in the debate). The Government Whip may choose to prese nt positive matter if it is releva nt to refut ing the Member of the Oppositi on' s exte nsion.Manner refers to the strategy and presentation of a team '
14、arguments. Manner includes elements such as argume nt choice, speech structure, vocal and physical delivery, use of POIs, and so forth.Manner should enhance the team ' s effort to prove or disprove the motion and should be compToii®gi.hanee their effort, the team should appropriately priori
15、tize and apportion time to the dynamic issues of the debate, present their argume nts in an order that is clear and logical, en gage the argume nts of the oppos ing side through direct or in direct refutati on. Compelli ng manner is that which prese nts the material in a way that dem on strates a co
16、ncern for vocal and physical presentation. Compelling teams deliver arguments with appropriate levels of passion, present their material in a way that attends to appropriate vocal and physical delivery, and avoid behaviors that detract from the force and effect iven ess of their argume nts.This desc
17、riptio n of matter and manner is n ecessarily in complete. The adjudicati on panel should assess the totality of each team' s efforts (including, but not limited to, matter and manner) to achieve a just and fair decision.After the adjudicators have agreed upon the ranking for each team, the pane
18、l should determine the speaker scores for each debater. Ties in team scores are not permitted.評(píng)分準(zhǔn)則評(píng)委主要根據(jù)選手在素材 (Matter )和辯論風(fēng)格及策略(Manner )兩方面的表現(xiàn)打分。Matter主要指辯論過(guò)程中的素材,即用來(lái)支持定義的論點(diǎn)和論據(jù)。素材必須與辯題密切相關(guān),符合邏輯, 且具有連貫性和說(shuō)服力。所有辯手在發(fā)展己方觀點(diǎn)時(shí)要從正面闡述觀點(diǎn)(不得一味反駁對(duì)方觀點(diǎn)或指出對(duì)方的錯(cuò)誤)。在總結(jié)陳詞中不得提出新的素材,也不得將辯題引入新的方面。Manner主要指辯手陳述己方觀點(diǎn)和反駁對(duì)方觀點(diǎn)時(shí)所采用的風(fēng)格和策略。風(fēng)格包括說(shuō)話方式,如音量,清晰度,發(fā)
23、音,節(jié)奏,語(yǔ)調(diào),流利程度,自信心等,也包括目光交流,可信度,自然恰當(dāng)?shù)氖謩?shì),和有效適 度的幽默感等方面。策略包括組織論據(jù),選擇論點(diǎn),應(yīng)對(duì)質(zhì)詢,和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作等方面。本比賽沒(méi)有一成不變的正確”風(fēng)格和策略。鑒于英語(yǔ)并非參賽選手的母語(yǔ),英語(yǔ)水平可以作為評(píng)分的一個(gè)依據(jù),但不能作為唯一的 評(píng)分依據(jù)。以上僅是評(píng)判辯論方法的一些指導(dǎo)性要素而非必須和全部,評(píng)委需綜合評(píng)判辯手的賽場(chǎng)表現(xiàn)。每位辯手 的表現(xiàn)滿分為100分,75分為平均分。分值等級(jí)90-100非常好。可以進(jìn)入決賽,有非常明顯的優(yōu)勢(shì)和極少的缺陷。80-89好??梢赃M(jìn)入半決賽甚至決賽,有明顯的優(yōu)勢(shì)和一些小的缺點(diǎn)。70-79平均水平。思想表達(dá)清楚,語(yǔ)句連貫,強(qiáng)
24、項(xiàng)和弱項(xiàng)都有明顯體現(xiàn)。60-69比較差。表達(dá)不夠清楚,思路不夠連貫,有較多嚴(yán)重的語(yǔ)言錯(cuò)誤,不能有效完成辯手職責(zé)。50-59差。條理不清,思路紊亂,語(yǔ)言均有明顯錯(cuò)誤,且多數(shù)為嚴(yán)重錯(cuò)誤,不能完成辯手職責(zé)。每隊(duì)兩位辯手分?jǐn)?shù)的總和即每隊(duì)的總分,每隊(duì)的總分要與他們?cè)谀且惠啽荣愔械拿蜗嗥ヅ?,比如,女口果排名第二的?duì)(兩位辯手)所得總分為170分,那排名第一的隊(duì)所得總分至少是171分。沒(méi)有平局,也不允許出現(xiàn)半分。打分表(Ballot)Opening PropositionJ J丿/Rank:Opening OppositionRank:Leader Propositi onPoi nts:Leader O
